COLLEGE LIFE NFT
As the lead creative designer and one of the four founders, I had the privilege of steering the vision behind our collection of 5,000 students on the Ethereum blockchain. This endeavor was more than just a project; it was a heartfelt mission to champion the well-being and mental states of students worldwide. Each NFT in our collection symbolized a unique student, embodying a special purpose within our burgeoning community. Our goal was ambitious yet clear: to unite students from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and majors, fostering connections and shared experiences. We also opened our doors to past alumni and alumnae, encouraging them to impart wisdom and experiences to current and future generations.
Pre mint
In the lead-up to the mint, we focused on laying the groundwork for an inclusive community. We eagerly welcomed college students, graduates, and NFT investors into the College Stars NFT family. This phase was crucial for establishing the tone and values of our community.
Phase 1: Establishing Foundations
Just 12 hours post-reveal, we successfully set up a student council among our holders. This was a significant milestone in ensuring that our community was governed by its members, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility. Moreover, we established the College Stars DAO fund, a testament to our commitment to giving back. This fund was instrumental in paying off student debts and awarding scholarships, as well as supporting charity organizations and foundations that shared our vision.
Post-Mint Achievements
Phase 2: Expanding Our Reach
We ventured into staking and Play-to-Earn (P2E) mechanisms, broadening the utility and engagement within our project. Perhaps most excitingly, we made our foray into the metaverse, marking a new chapter in our journey. This expansion allowed our community to interact in novel and immersive ways, breaking down physical barriers and enhancing our collective experience.
Phase 3: Celebrating Our Community
The highlight of our project was undoubtedly the Holders Week, an IRL event that brought our community together for three days of unforgettable experiences. It was a moment of celebration, connection, and shared joy. Additionally, we launched exclusive merchandise for our NFT holders, further solidifying their bond with the College Stars identity.
I also worked on other notable projects as a creative designer and project community manager. Some of these projects were REMEMBER, Vending machine NFT, Sleepy Sloth etc.
